We got started because awareness wasn't changing anything

Dr. Tammy L. Hodo spent years studying how race, class, and sex shape people's life chances. Then she spent years watching organizations respond to what she found by holding a workshop.

A workshop doesn't change a promotion pattern. It doesn't fix a pay gap or a complaint process where nobody knows who owns the file. She started All Things Diverse in Jacksonville to do the other part, the part where somebody looks at the actual system, says what's wrong with it out loud, and helps the people inside it build something better.

That's still the work. Cities, counties, agencies, universities, and companies across the country and abroad.

Direct, without the blame

There's a version of this work that makes everyone in the room feel terrible and changes nothing. People get defensive, they go quiet, and three weeks later the organization is exactly where it started with a slightly worse mood.

We don't do that one.

Our sessions name the thing everyone's been carefully not saying, then hand people something they can actually do differently on Monday. No guilt, no shame, no assigning villains. Adults change their behavior when they're given a reason and a skill, not when they're scolded.

Clients tell us afterward that we were direct without being harsh. That's the target.

Verified, not just claimed

Anybody can say their training is rigorous. We asked a third party to check.

All Things Diverse is an IACET Accredited Provider, accredited against the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training. Earning it meant documenting how we plan, design, deliver, assess, and record every learning event, then sitting through a review by a commission of instructional design professionals who verified all of it.

The practical result for you: our training can carry CEUs your certified staff apply toward their credentials. And you can check our standing yourself, right now.

As an IACET Accredited Provider, All Things Diverse LLC offers IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.
