When something happens, the investigation is either the thing that resolves it or the thing that makes it worse.

We scope it in writing first, because scope creep is how investigations lose credibility. Then confidential interviews with the complainant, the respondent, and witnesses. Document and record review. A written report with findings, the evidence behind each one, and recommendations.

Our standard scope covers a single complainant, a single respondent, and up to four witnesses. Matters larger than that are re-scoped in writing before work continues, so the number you're quoted is the number you pay.
